Migration, a real situation

Migration, a real situation

By Fernando Albán

Hello everyone, I’m Fernando and I live in Quito for 5 years ago with my parents and with my two brothers, I can say that actually I really like live her because the school where I’m studying now is bigger and prettier than the other one in Santo Domingo, I already know all the city and there more than 100 things that I can find here and doesn´t exist in Santo Domingo, I have too many friends in the school and also in the neighborhood that I’m very happy and proud to have met them, I can say also that I feel my family very comfortable here and especially my mother that has a great job.

We come to the city because my parents wanted to have a stable job and a house in which me and my brothers can grow in a better ambient specially with a better education, I also have family here in the city that migrated too so we wanted also stayed closer with the family. When my parents told me that we will migrate to the city I was a little surprise because this is a thing that they already told me some years ago but the first thing that I thought was: where we are going to live and if my brothers and me will continue study, then my mom explain me everything and I feel better.

When we arrived to the city just with some bags with clothes the first thing, we did was went to my uncle house because we were going to live there, then in two weeks me and my brothers started to go to the school while my parents started to work in different parts in the downtown, they were working as sellers in a big store, my parents told us that the job was to hurt because they were always stan-up organizing articles and boxes.

About 450 million of 1.2 billion Indians migrate within the country, according to the Census 2011 data, the 15,6 % of all domestic migrants, moved from rural to urban areas, this is a real fact and we can affirm this just with a quick review around us, too many people that work in stores, markets or just in many jobs that exist here in the city migrated from rural areas, so this is truth  percentage and this is happening for many reasons, the job in rural areas in some cases are harder than the jobs we can find in the city, but people don´t take care of this or support the job in rural areas.

To conclude with this I just want to recommend you something, if you have the opportunity to migrate, travel, realize a trip, stuff like that, to other city or maybe country in the world with a better social status, a well government that help or support the necessities of the population, more opportunities to have a job and being a better person in many aeras thanks of the study or job….do it, travel and know as much as you can about everything because it will convert you a special person, you will reach to many objectives and also you will have a chance to have a better purpose in life, I do recommend migrate because it has a lot of benefits.
